I love travelling but thanks to my little family (I, my girlfriend and 4yrs old son) I can´t afford to travel too much. After covid-madness I decided to follow my passion and get back myself to travelling. I prefer southern countries like Italy or Spain which is sort of nostalgia for me but I am not closing the door on other great trips!

My family is usually my companionship. So, there are few words about us: There was a traveller´s race in 2016 that I and my girlfriend were participating in. Then we went for several hitch-hiking trips. Since we´ve had a little son (currently 4 yrs old) we don´t give up on travelling. We visited, for example, an international EU project in Alicante, Spain. Our son was then only 1 year old but so adorable so he helped us to get help from others :-) With my girlfried we also started our own project: custom-made sewing for babies and women. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet up with open-minded people who love adventure, discovering places and tasty meal. I am definetely one of them and so I would like to share common interests and have good time.

Interests

For more than five years I was the leader of the scout unit in my local town and also an organizer of few scout camps. Besides my scout activities I helped three years in local center for volunteers. I was also active while coordinating other human rights project in my town. After graduation (field: Social Work) I decided to set up a language school which became my life challenge and passion.

Music, Movies, and Books

From foreign popular music I´m into The Doors, Queen, The Sex Pistols, Bob Marley and rather older things. However, last years I have been into more pop things that underline temperant spirit of Spanish/Italian culture. I also love Czech music (Vypsaná fiXa, Rybičky 48, Wohnout etc.).

I don´t like action movies. These are rubish full of stupid action that I don´t like at all. I prefer movies that has some deeper idea and push someone to thinking. My favorites are: Philadelphia, Limitless, Life is beautiful, The Truman Show. Or, because I am father, I tend to watch some relaxing pieces.

I love different kinds of books. Classical, philosophical, funny, real stories etc. Books I read in close past: How I Won the War - it was an amazing thing - recommend :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I organized a project for seniors in local home for the elderly where I was discussing with seniors about books and also had presentation. Finally, they got some books that I gained as a sponsorship gift.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my cultural knowledge of countries I visited - or, certainly, my mother country: Czech Republic. It includes, history, cooking, language and so many other things except sports (I really know nothing about it!) As said previously I am a language tutor. I can teach you some English - don´t hesitate to ask me! However if you are not into these I am open to share doing sports, make some outdoor activities or just party :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to meet new people to win new friends with whom I would like to keep in touch in future. I would like to share my free time that could be used for different kind of fun (partying, listening to music, chating, cooking etc.) Also I am open to cultural and language exchange.
