ABOUT ME

Dark hair and a dark sense of humor. Lots of opinions and the courage to express them. A people person. That's how I would describe myself to a total stranger. I'm also easy to get along with and absolutely love meeting people from different cultures. Currently I study medicine at the University of Helsinki.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted, surfed, helped and guided. I'm more than willing to host you and show the best places in Helsinki, especially if you're ready to hop on a bicycle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best couchsurfing experience happened in Shanghai. We (me and my friend Suvi) had been traveling for two weeks in China. A czech guy had agreed to host us in his university dormitory. To make things interesting he was not allowed to have quests after 10 pm. Usually we managed to get back to his place either well before the curfew or after the guard had left her post. One time we came to the campus only to notice they had closed all the gates. What else was there to do than climb the 3 meter high gate and the get to his room through the window (luckily he lived in the 1st floor). It was so much fun to sneak around the dark campus area and try to avoid being spotted by the guards that the memory still makes me smile. Our time in Shanghai was superb also otherwise thanks to all the amazing people we met. Fell totally in love with the city <3

兴趣

I'm interested in medicine (which is kind of obvious since I'm a medicine student), traveling, cats(not in that way...), partying, food, spinning, biking, music, saving the world while drinking wine... you name it.

I love to learn about different cultures. History, customs and especially food. There is no better way to spend a evening then having a lovely dinner with friends. I truly appreciate if you can teach me make your favorite dish, whatever that might be.
