About Me

Hello! I am an American from Virginia that is currently living in Namibia where I volunteer through American Peace Corps to teach at a local high school.
I am eager to travel and experience new things. So I find myself having "itchy feet" and can never stay in one place for too long. I love to submerse myself into different cultures and make lasting connections. Creating an environment that promotes positive attitudes and creating friendships is what I love to do.
Overall, I am easy-going and love to spend time with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to explore the world and see what this world has to offer through different perspectives. I hope to make connections and understand different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I listen to almost anything. However, I lean towards dance, hip-hop, rap, and alternative rock, and indie.

When it comes to movies I like to watch Sci-Fi, Horror, Psychological Thrillers. But I am very open to all genres of movies.

As for books I lean towards Fiction mainly but do enjoy some Non-fiction as well. I find myself constantly reading The Alchemist a lot and love getting something new every time I do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently volunteering in Namibia as a teacher through Peace Corps. Continuously grow my family here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a fair a bit of languages and other cultures I have experienced and would love to share what I have learned with others. I wouldn't say I am fluent but I can hold conversations in them.
I can teach you how to write your name in Japanese or greet in the multiple languages that I know.
I am also eager to learn new ones as well! I would love for you to teach me as well.

I studied Biology in my undergrad so anything science related peaks my interest and would like share with you!

Baking and cooking is something I like to do and would love to share some recipes with you as long as I can learn a dish from you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am easy-going and very approachable. I like to create a light and comfortable atmosphere and greet with a smile! Laughter is the best medicine so why not share?

Cooking and baking is something I enjoy as well to if you want to try my take on different cuisines we can share a meal together!
