Overview
About Me
Born and brought up in India. Have stayed in the cities of Mumbai and Bangalore. By profession I work with startups in marketing.
I have taken a sabbatical, moved with my wife to NYC and plan to travel over the next 6- 8 months across USA , South America and Europe. I am also looking forward to connecting with locals and travellers to share my travel stories and get know more about their culture, experiences and all things fascinating. If you are planning to startup or already doing one, please do leave a message would definitely like to meet you.
I am getting back to reading fiction, history, comics, graphic novels and occasionally a management book. I love playing different card games (not poker or flush) and a sucker for learning how to play new board games.
I have started to learn to cook Indian meals so that I can make one for my hosts when staying with them.
I've got rejected by a few hosts because I don't have references:(

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Would love to meet new people with diverse backgrounds. Hear you share more about your culture, travel experiences and tips on how to travel in your city and country. We are new to city ourselves but happy to show you around the city and probably explore some of it along with you. We like going out for a few drinks or meal over the weekends and events happening in the city. You can join us. We live in a studio so there isn't much space but we change a futon. Also provide a blanket and fresh towels. We appreciate travellers who have a high standard for hygiene. Smelly shoes and socks are a no go. You can use our laundry card for a washing it costs $4.5 for washing and drying. We stay close to subways and bus stations and Central Park is just a mile away.
As a traveller, prefer staying with locals. It gives an opportunity to share ideas, learn from other's experiences, do fun activities together and make friends for life. Couchsurfing truly makes it a big huge global village where people help each other and help create more memorable experiences to share.

Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach on how to meet and greet in Hindi and the basic language so that you can blend in as a local. Teach a few easy Indian recipes to cook and some card games which you can play the next time you meet your friends. Can also help you plan your trip to India and the must see places.
I would love to learn Spanish, how to cook interesting vegetarian dishes, playing the guitar or flute and discover international music.
Share my travel experiences, my experiences of being an entrepreneur and the hardships they face. What its like growing up in India and the cultural diversity.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my travel stories, discuss Lord of the Rings, my conspiracy theory behind why we make certain kind of movies, discussion on world history and your take on it.
I can cook a simple Indian meal. Share some hot and spicy Indian recipes (will tell you with the help of Google). Can also share a few card games which you can play as a couple or in a group.
