Hey Everyone,
So my name is Kulsoom, I'm from the suburbs of Philadelphia. I really love my city and there is a lot to do that I still have not done. So looking forward to spending time with those who want to explore my beautiful city. I can show you around and get the best cheese-steaks in the world. I'm the middle child in my family and yes the middle child syndrome does exist for me, sadly. I really love to travel so looking forward to meeting the new people that come my way and those that I come across when I'm on my adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy getting to know the people when I travel to new places. What the city is like is different from each person's perspective and I like getting to know that part. I have had people host me in Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. My experience would have not been great without those grateful and helpful people.
I also really want to meet other enthusiastic travelers and hear about their stories.

Interests

I like a lot of things, I like to cook but prefer baking more especially desserts. I like to explore the outdoors, I'm not much of a staying inside kind of girl (okay maybe sometimes). I like meeting people of all walks of life, just as long as your respectful towards others. I also recently got into swimming so I enjoy that as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm hooked to bollywood music, because hindi is my mother tongue. But I dont mind regular pop and r and b.

I would say I'm a huge movie buff, I will watch pretty much everything except horror, because then I cant sleep at night. I once saw the grudge (English version, from what I hear Japanese is 10 times more scarier) and couldn't sleep for 3 weeks. I love marvel comics and spider- man hands down for me is the best superhero.

I love reading romantic comedies because they have a lot of humor and its an easy read. But I'm open to suggestions people might have. In high school I read the kite runner and loved the book. Such a great story about friendship.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm extremely afraid of heights but I got the courage to go zip lining in the Poconos mountain in Pennsylvania. Best view I have ever seen because the sun was setting just as I came down. Talk about concurring your fear. I also went zip lining in front of Mount Fuji in Japan.

I did my visit solo trip to Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia in 2015. Greatest experience of my life because I met so many CS friends and host.
