ABOUT ME

Considering I'm doing Couchsurfing and thus open my home to complete strangers, the words "slightly crazy" come to mind. Other than that I'm a pretty nerdy person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started couchsurfing to reduce travel expenses during my three months trip to Japan and found it so much fun I decided to start hosting when i got back.
Nowadays, I mostly host because I haven't got time to travel around much.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent a couple of nights on couches in Japan and met some amazing people, and got to host some very nice surfers at my place as well.

Reading, gaming, cooking, baking, studying languages, movies, snowboarding, diving, theatre...typical nerd I'm afraid.

Movies: some of my favourite movies/series include burn after reading, Repo, Dr. Horribles sing along blog, twelve monkeys, Dr Who, avatar the last airbender, all kinds of Disney
Music: Preferably rock/alternative/metal but I also enjoy more quiet music every now and then.
Books: preferably scifi. Among my favourite authors are Sergej Lukianenko, Alaister Reynolds, Walter Moers, Richard morgan and Jasper Fforde

Standing on a rock in the middle of nowhere on Miyajima, Japan. The view was superb and the feeling standing up there all alone...fantastic.

Well I'd enjoy teaching you about Switzerland and bits of Swissgerman if you wish. If you find me the necessary ingredients I'm always willing to share some traditional Swiss cooking.
