About Me

Hey, I'm a Malaysian pharmacist in training (fancy way of saying 3rd year student!) haha. I have never hiked but wished to (my friends aren't outdoor type, sadly) and I can run pretty well too (faculty athlete) ;)

The countries that I have so far travelled are Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia (Krong Siem Reap), Indonesia (Bali & Medan) and Japan ( Hokkaido & Hiroshima).

All the above countries are travelled with family and friends. Hopefully, my first Couchsurfing will be a solo trip. Please ask me anything :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I created this account for meeting locals when I travel. Tbh, I want an adventure and feel like your friend rather than a visitor when travelling to your beautiful country.

Let's be friends!

Interests

  • scuba diving
  • writer

Music, Movies, and Books

I've recently picked up the Anime craze, think I'm too late for the party but nevertheless I also love pop music.

I'm a classical Bharathanatyam dancer and dabbled a little in competitive debates. Mostly, a bookworm (I'm Asian, what do you expect? hehe) and my all time favourite book is the Mocking Bird.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say diving for sure. To me, that's a privilege to be able to see the underworld with a slightly different perspective.

I also competed in the Penang Bridge half-marathon. Gosh, that was a killer!

In my teen years, I was an editor for New Straits Times newspaper under a pullout column. I got to interview celebs and local entrepreneur and got to win awards for my writing skills too. Now, you know why my bio is fun to read ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I prolly can teach you how to bargain for cheap goods. If you ever visit Malaysia, especially Penang or KL I'll take you around. Share my culture maybe? And share my food with you :)

I'll think about sharing my food part again haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be a very enjoyable and fun guest, so I have been told by my friends. I will be able to teach you how to dance to my folkdance, and share wonderful memories.

Countries I’ve Visited
