Hi,

I am originally from South Korea. I've been living in America for 12 years now and am fluent in both Korean and English. I am picking up Spanish these days for fun. :) Sad to say, I do not know much about K-pop. Sorry, I just can't follow every single K-pop groups and keep up with other things that really matter to me.

About me:
-I love spicy food. Korean food is generally spicy.
-Favorite dog breeds: Rottweiler and Husky
-I play flute. I'm not that good but okay at it.
-Love reading/watching One Piece. One piece fans out there, we will get along very well.
-I'm currently learning constellations. I love to observe stars/planets with my telescope at night (Back home; not in NY)
-I hate clowns...
-I love cheese
-I love pasta. yummmm
-I'm a Christian.
-I am a numismaticst (a fancy word for coin collector!). If you have any vintage coin, let's trade!
-Martial arts (2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do; newbie in Judo)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel around the world. I want broaden my view and make awesome friends along the way. Growing up in one city for past ten years, I rarely had a chance to become a friend with people from different parts of the world. I want to be a dentist serving in different parts of the world so couchsurfing might be a step towards learning different cultures before I jump in later in the future.

-Horatio Hornblower series by C.S. Forester (This is an amazing book for sure. I highly recommend this book to everyone)

-Movie: I love watching SciFy and adventurous movies. Also, I am a fan of One Piece.

Teach: I will teach you Korean and about teeth! I have also been involved with stem cell research past 5 years. I can tell you more about it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

One thing I can do is be a respectful surfer and become a friend. I value friendships and I also believe things happen for reasons.

One thing that I will almost always share with my hosts is my dream: why I want to become a dentist. I want to change the world. Do you?
