About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Helping people in developing countries and exploring Amsterdam
ABOUT ME
I am an energetic person who loves to sport like running, cycling and skiing. A dream (which will probably end up in a nightmare) would be to run the NY marathon.
Of course my hobby is to travel around the world, meeting new people, getting to know other cultures and seeing amazing sceneries. Hopefully someday I can make it as my work...
I just moved to Amsterdam so I am very excited to explore this place.
I like good food, nice wines and great beers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During my travels I got to know about CS. I surfed one time in Phnom Penh which was a great experience. When I go back to NL, I will definitely host travellers! Also I attended several of the weekly CS events in Phnom Penh.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first host was super relaxed and even let me stay in his apartment while he was on a business trip. When I continue my travels, I will certainly try to CS more as it makes the travelling different and interesting.
During NYE I posted a message that people could join me and a friend during dinner/party. We ended up with more than 10 people partying in Pubstreet, Siem Reap!
Interests
There are so many things that makes life interesting. From reading a book or watching a whodunnit serie to having food with friends (cooking or restaurant), from heading out to a terrace for a beer when the first sunrays shine in the spring (in Holland) to drinking a nice cup of coffee on a lazy sunday morning. I can go on for a while...
