About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Awaiting my road trip to Colorado with my girl and friends!

ABOUT ME

I've been apart of couch surfing since I lost my best friend to a car accident in 2009. I haven't surfed in quite a while nor hosted anyone in a couple years. But I'm looking to get back out there. I'm currently planning a road trip with some friends to Colorado here in July so if anyone is willing to host 4 people (two couples), for the first week in July, let me know. I'm really excited to see what legalization looks like. Never thought that day would come. We're looking to be driving to Colorado Springs and Denver. If there are any places you recommend to stay at our visit, drop me a line.

PHILOSOPHY

"A Man is what he Thinks about all Day Long!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing has really Changed my Life. I went to the CS Campout in Colorado and from there I have decided to open my Door and my Heart to anyone who needs a hand. I have now met the local couchsurfers in my area, and i'm constantly amazed by the people I meet from here...
Its like we're all friends, but we just haven't met yet...
I've found out that CouchSurfers really share alot of things in common. One thing I've Learned about CouchSurfers is that we have a Mutual Respect for each other. Which is kind of hard to find- even in some of my circles of friends. I mean, to host or surf with someone, you got to have alot of Love in your Heart you know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If you didn't go to the CS Camp out in Colorado, you really missed out! I went with my friend Mondre and when we showed up we were greeted with Hugs and Food. The other CouchSurfers there helped us set up our tent and we became instant friends! I got to climb a Mountain for my first time and smell that fresh mountain air!
I also just got back from my first couchsurf in Kansas City MO. I drove a friend up there to try out for Jeopardy (YES he made the cut) and found Torey Julian. And AWESOME Host who happens to be Fluent in Japaneese too. The CouchSurfing Crowd up there is Electric! I should of couchsurfed yrs ago. Even though I've had a profile since 07, I really started to take this seriously since my Best Friend Dorian Carter passed away in a car accident on 4-8-09.
And to my amazement I have found that his Spirit is alive through the Hearts and Souls of all you couchsurfers! The main lesson I learned from my friend Dorian was...LOVE.LOVE.LOVE

Interests

I joined this site because I like to meet new people, and create new memories. I do keep up with current events & politics, I do like to debate, (my parents said I should be a Lawyer). Yes I do read, but I like reading about People skills/Phycology. I like movies, but perfer documentaries or Indy Films. I like Live music, something melllow with a good message in it- not so loud you can't hear yourself think. I like eating differents foods now. I'm starting to learn how to cook...I don't like it. I usually end up eating out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- Jim Carry is one of my Favorites. Eternal Sunshine, Man on the Moon, The Tuman Show, In Living Color as Fire Marshal Bill!
I listen to all types of music. For me is not the music that I like but more of what the music reminds me of what I was doing at the time. I could be listening to Enrique Iglesias one day just to remember the Goodtimes I had while that song was playing.
And Books, yeah I read. I've been reading Books by Robert Kiosaki, Napolean Hill, Dale Carnagie, Chris Brady and Orrin Woodward. I also read alot about
adifferent Personalities and temperments so i can better relate to people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd have to say Joining up with this site and Traveling to Colorado to the TentSurf! I fell in Love with the people here and am going to try and get to know as many people as i can from this website!
I've hosted twice now with Lisa Lloyd, cool girl! I've surfed in Kansas City and enjoyed a game of kickball here in Dallas with the local CS crowd.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've Learned Alot about Leadership in the Last 5 yrs of my Life. I have discovered that all of us have the seeds of greatness within us and we need to Dream in order for them to Grow! We all have the person we want to be inside us, just waiting to get out. Believe in yourself! We all have a magical power to manafest anything into our lives, so be careful of your thoughts and feelings! They will come true! Its an Amazing Gift, I think we all don't really understand what Free Will is all about!

Peace, Love, God Bless
