CURRENT MISSION

To visit the world from a local perspective and mindset. To meet cool people and make new friends globally. This summer, I plan to visit Oxford, UK to watch my childhood best friend get married! I will be travelling to London and Oxford for a few days with a stopover in Reykjavik, Iceland!

I'm pretty enthusiastic and ready for new adventures. I enjoy talking to people and listening to their stories. I'm compassionate and enjoy helping others. I love outdoor recreation, such as hiking and backpacking. I enjoy driving new roads and riding buses and trains. I also enjoy writing - both about my adventures as well as fictional worlds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several years ago, a former boyfriend of mine used Couch Surfing and we stayed with two hosts in Virginia Beach. The two guys we stayed with were totally awesome, even though the one sprayed windex on my laptop...but it reminded me of our fun trip the entire rest of the time that I had it. We all played video games, stayed up all night talking, and driving around the city crazily to find an open McDonalds...good times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love cliff jumping. In 2007, I jumped off of a 30 foot cliff into the Aegean Sea while staying in Crete. It was so gorgeous off the top of the cliff and the thrill of jumping made me do it again! I also damaged the nerves in my 2 front teeth jumping off of a waterfall in St. Mary's Wilderness in Virginia. Totally worth it.
