About Me
I spent the last 18 years working in software and technology in San Francisco, Tokyo, and China. I've been to 80 countries. About a year ago I quit my job and now traveling extensively. While I travel, I teach or do other volunteer work. So if you know of any good projects, please do let me know. In addition to technology, I like sports, local foods, and just getting to know people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing so that I can make friends with local who share similar interests. I like to explore the local areas, try local foods, and also think about business projects together. I find all of that exciting. When traveling at backpackers or alone, I don't find the opportunity to do so.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like to read a cultural and historical book about every country I visit. I read anything from political science to Japanese animeI like funny movies mostly. As for music, anything that I can dance too like EDM is my flavor at the moment but I like anything depending on the mood like country, classic rock, and hip hop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know if I've done anything amazing, per se. I have done an ultra marathon and half ironmen. Not really amazing though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to teach anything that I'm familiar with especially my experiences in Asia, travel stories, or technology business experience. I like to learn about the local scene including business, music, and art. And of course I like to share any of these things when I spend time with people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Business ideas, travel ideas, and just quality of life maximization tips.
