About Me

I'm Kurt, 42, and currently on a sabatical trip through Europe. I'm solo on this motorbike trip. Which I am doing afters a two year revalidation and soulsearching period. Since I couldn't work the past years, it is a low-budget trip :-). I love a lot of things as you'll see in the list of interests, but most of aĺl I love people, (and dogs, and well, cats too). I like a good conversation, a walk in nature. I don't stress out easily. When I'm well at ease I tend to be humoristic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Ludovico Einaudi all the way through to Slayer and a lot of stuff in between... my criterium is whether I like the band and not what genre it is.
Higlights : Ludovico Einaudi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Skunk Anansie, The Lumineers, George Ezra, Norah Jones, Iron Maiden, Retro Trance, Acid techno, Autechre, Sly and the Family Stone, Moby...

I've read a lot of books and seen many movies, not easy to pick some... Paulo Coelho, The Dune series, some of Tanith Lee's early work, Asimov, the Horus Heresy series...
I used to watch cinephile movies most, but nowadays I also enjoy popcorn action and Dc movies. Some titles : Grave (french title), Guardians of the Galaxy, Sympathy for lady vengeance, Dunkirk, Tracks (beautiful movie, must see :-) )...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A hawk took to air and kept flying besides me while I was riding my motorbike.
