About Me

I am a super cliché Geography Graduate who wants to get out and explore the world, try new foods and experience different cultures! I currently work for the University of Sheffield, running outreach events for students who are underrepresented at university. I am an easy going guy, and down for pretty much anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I am more concerned about the people that I meet rather than ticking things off a to-do list. For me, the real joys of travelling have been with my couchsurfer hosts - going to those local places of interest and eateries or just chatting about the differences in culture and getting to know someone

Music, Movies, and Books

My music choice is somewhat questionable! I really love 80's/90's bands like Queen and Meat loaf but also I am really keen on small up and coming "indie" bands - To be honest I will listen to most things!

There are far too many films for me to pick a favourite but Trainspotting, Shawshank Redemption and Love Actually (quintessentially English film if you haven't seen it!) are definitely up there!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From July 2016 - Sept 2016 me and my flatmate, Josh, travelled around the East Coast / South / Midwest of the United States. Visiting 12 states in total - along the way we couchsurfed at a number of places and loved it. We met as many people as possible, shared stories and explored the American culture and food - it was one of the best experiences of my life and one which I won't forget

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really love meeting and chatting to people from all over the world, sharing stories and experiences. I am happy to get involved in the daily routine of your household, in whatever way I can! What I enjoy most is hanging out, chatting and sharing experiences with the couchsurfers I stay with!
