Hey there! My name is Kurtis, and I'm an American living in Rwanda. My passions lie in theatre, education, and vulnerable conversations. Ive got small, but manageable, addictions to cooking, dancing, and treating myself. Lover of nouns; people, places, things, and ideas.

I am originally from West Virginia, USA. I studied theatre and thought I wanted to work in technical theatre. But after a stint with AmeriCorps State working in education, a stint with AmeriCorps VISTA developing community theatre programs, and then service with the Peace Corps as a teacher who used a lot of drama for behavior change, I am becoming more interested in theatre as a tool. I love talking about the arts, and have found friends just because we share compelling conversations.
