About Me

CURRENT MISSION

experience the world, forge my own path

ABOUT ME

I am currently travelling in Southeast Asia while working an online business from anywhere and everywhere. Bali and the Philippines are my main bases for the next couple months and it's been a blast so far.

I grew up in rural central PA and it was quiet and safe but BORING. Since studying abroad in London and getting a taste of travel, I crave excitement and want to experience everything the world has to offer.

In May 2010 I embarked on a 2 week service trip to the Philippines and it was truly life-changing. We helped build a house, delivered 10,000 pounds of rice and sponsored the education of children. I will never forget the many new friends I made and the amazing experiences in my short time there.

I fully realized how lucky I am to have the opportunities given to me, and I am not going to waste them.

PHILOSOPHY

The default 9-5 work life is not for me. I am building my life so that I can live and work from anywhere (inspired by the 4 hour workweek).

"If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something....

Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.... There is no reason not to follow your heart." - Steve Jobs
