ABOUT ME

Generally I like to travel and being based in Moscow have been traveling for mountaineering and ski expeditions all over the former USSR (including Central Asia, Siberia and the Russian Far East) for about 20 years. I also liked to explore new countries and learn new languages and cultures. Related to my research and studies I have been a lot to most of European countries (mainly UK, Germany and Italy), a little bit the US, Australia, and lots of time I've spent in China which I really love.
Since 2005 I lost my freedom of travel, and currently do research at the University of Leeds.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Without being involved in CS2 I frequently traveled and stayed with people on my way in the former USSR area as well as the West. I offered my place to several people who stayed with me.

Interests

Mountaineering, ski expeditions, cycling, walking, camping, hitch-hiking.

I love classical music and like to explore cultural things.

I appreciate good food and like to cook too.
