ABOUT ME

I'm culturally aware and open with a diverse repertoire of interests, particularly in new languages and new people! I love to travel and do so whenever I get the opportunity to. I'm especially interested in photography, art, journalism, social entrepreneurship and world cuisines.

I like the philosophy behind the notion of seizing the moment, taking advantage of new opportunities and being whimsical, imaginative and creative.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thus far I've only had the pleasure of staying with others as a CS, but in the future (once I have a bigger apartment!) I hope to reciprocate the kindness that has been shown to me over the years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed my way through Portugal in early 2011 and had a marvelous time! Couchsurfed again in Japan in April 2014 and in Tunisia in July 2014.

Musica, film e libri

I used to DJ an international music radio show at my university, so my musical tastes are quite vast, although I have a preference for music in the languages I speak. I love to dance, especially Latin dancing. I'm a prolific reader and lately have been particularly touched by "The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao". Highly recommended if you haven't read it yet!

I graduated from high school at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Giza. It was unforgettable.
