About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet like-minded people and share with everyone, everywhere.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 19 year old student currently completing a degree in political science and economics. I am obviously interested in politics, current affairs, history and culture. That said, I am quite a laid-back guy who loves sharing opinions and ideas over a beer or three.

Music takes up a great part of my life, and you could say that a passion of mine is live music... seeing and hearing as much of it as possible. I can also jam, if anyone's up for that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to locate some welcoming couches throughout the US and Canada when I'm there in the second half of this year.

Once I properly move out of home, I will be more than happy to accommodate CS-ers from everywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

holy crap! okay

musica: Red House Painters, Grizzly Bear, Yo La Tengo, Broken Social Scene, the Wrens, Okkervil River, Animal Collective, Department of Eagles, Sunset Rubdown, Built to Spill, the Arcade Fire, Beirut, Yeasayer, Interpol, My Bloody Valentine, etc... looking back a bit, Neil Young, Joy Div, Cash.

books: the works of Nick Hornby, Jack Kerouac, Annie Proulx, Michael Ondaatje, Graham Greene, Mary Shelley, Tim Winton, George Orwell, David Sedaris, Anna Funder, amongst others.
I will also consume any Newsweek or New Yorker feverishly if I find one to be lying around.

films: Into the Wild, Synecdoche New York, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, 2001, pretty much any cheesy action film from the late 90s. HOME ALONE, too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Uluru.
