Each person is a work in progress. I live life to the fullest and expect each day to be different. That difference molds us and tempers us. Every day is not all happiness, but each day brings joy for me in some way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in a couple of homes in the mid 80s as part of the Servas community. It was a very good experience, so I was excited to learn of the Couch Surfing community. My husband and I have hosted people from around the world for years. We have hosted people from Canada, the USA, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, China, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Butan, France, Belgium, Scotland, England, Italy, Germany, Laos, Nepal, India, Tanzania, Turkey, Switzerland, Macedonia,...

Interests

I like hiking. I like learning new things. I am adaptable. I like to read, use computers, paint, cook, travel, do yoga, listen to music, look at the sky, dance, and the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attending leadership workshops and challenging myself to reach beyond my limits. Hiking along the world heritage pilgrimage routes where I live. Challenging myself to learn to read and write Japanese to a level of proficiency. Walked on fire.... and more
