ABOUT ME
I'm a fun and free-spirited person! You should get to know me. I grew up in Fort Worth, TX and now I reside in Austin. I like to make friends everywhere I go. I love good wine and food. I love to read, listen to good music, watch movies, explore new places, play with my dog, watch the sunset, go to concerts, play the concertina, perform on stage, have crazy sex all night long with someone I truly love. I love Love. I love hugs, kisses, candy, making new friends, having good conversations, getting high, laughing uncontrollably, singing, doing things that scare me at first but leave me feeling braver and exhilarated for having done them. I love writing (when I make myself sit down and do it), creating things, parties, and spending time with fun people. I love life in general, and there are far too many things that I love for me to mention here.
PHILOSOPHY
Love and be loved. Laugh a lot. Worry little. Appreciate the little things. Spread joy. Always lend a helping hand and an open ear. Love freely and frequently. Be compassionate and be passionate. Know your limits and push them a little every day. Enjoy life to its fullest extent. Tell those you're close to how much they mean to you. Make new friends, but never forget your old ones. Forgive, and don't hold grudges. Treat others as you'd like to be treated yourself. Be strong in your convictions, but don't force them on other people. Be open-minded. Allow yourself to be wrong. Speak the truth and say the little things that are difficult to say. Listen to your heart and obey it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sooooo many. Here's a quick list:
Movies: Anything directed by the Coen bros, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, Tim Burton, Wes Anderson, Spike Jonze, and Michel Gondry. Everything written by Charlie Kaufman. I love classics. American Beauty, My Life as A Dog, Life is Beautiful, The Godfather parts 1 and 2, all the Monty Python films, The City of Lost Children, Pan's Labyrinth, La Strada, and much much more.
Music: They Might Be Giants, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Beck, CAKE, Dr. Dog, the Pixies, Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips, Ween, Spoon, Ben Folds, The entire Elephant 6 Collective, (and if I kept going it would never stop)
I basically love anything and everything except most Top 40 pop, gangster rap, and new country. My music interests include everything from classical to old country to intelligent and socially-conscious rap to classic rock to indie to jazz to just about everything else.
Books: again, this would be a long list. I particularly like fantasy/sci-fi, graphic novels, and classic literature and stuff that's just plain bizarre. My favorite authors include Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Phillip K. Dick, Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, J.R.R. Tolkien and, well, really too many to mention here. I'm open to just about everything and I sometimes spread myself thin. And I love audiobooks too. (yes, you can say it, I'm a nerd)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping for a week in the middle of the Grand Canyon.
And one time I herded cattle with my car. That, and I once challenged a goat to a head-butting contest ...he won.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bunch about wine and cheese. Plus, I can shoot the shit about literature, film, music, theater, philosophy, psychology, and whatever else you want to throw my way. I'm always eager to learn new things too.
