About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Go with the flow, try not to over think it.
ABOUT ME
24 year old Sydney lass with a sunny disposition. Friendly, open, I'd like to think that I'm practical (although sometimes I get caught up in the moment and just do without thinking) and on occasion at the eccentric end of the spectrum.
I'm a Paediatric Nurse and have been for two years- I love working with children (it helps that 'play' is such an essential tool in working with them) and learning about the various disease processes that someone may encounter during childhood is fascinating, but it can get quite sad. Having said that, there are way more positive outcomes that out weigh the bad and there is nothing better than waving a happy recovered child out the hospital doors.
Since I graduated from Uni I try to make time (and means) to travel overseas at least twice a year but it's a matter of work and life really. I try!
I love experiencing different cultures and learning about different customs, coming from a diverse background myself of Fijian, Scottish, Chinese, Irish and Samoan heritage, it's just really exciting knowing that we all exist together but are all so different.
No couch at the moment but CS will be the first to know when there is. Will definitely try to make an effort if time allows to show you around Sydney as I know it with a coffee or soy chai latte or whatever it is that floats your boat in hand.
PHILOSOPHY
Life in simplicity. Wow, now that I have acquired a personal philosophy for myself I will try and keep that in mind...all day, everyday.

Music, Movies, and Books
Wes Anderson's crazy off beat films, all John Hughes' 80s confections, 90s teen flicks like 10 things I hate about you, Empire Records, She's all that. Disney classics, Sister Act 2, Amelie, Les Choristes, Into the wild- I love any movie with a great plot and/or great acting or singing.
Music-wise I love almost everything from Fleet Foxes to Lenny Kravitz, from Notorious B.I.G. to America, but nothing surpasses my love for Motown 50s-80s especially the music of Stevie Wonder.
Fave reads- The Alchemist, The Book Thief, Falling Leaves, House of Spirits, Mansfield Park, Jane Eyre, Norwegian Wood and The Telesa Trilogy (my guilty pleasure).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunrise on a snowboarding trip to New Zealand two years ago.The road up the mountain was deemed too dangerous and icy that day but it was our last day so my mates and i were determined. It was terrifying and took forever in our little van that could, the chains did us proud though as did my mate who drove and we made it just in time to watch the sunrise and to christen the newly fallen powder. A definite wow/miracle moment.
