Overview
About Me
I am a native of New York City and now live in the Manayunk/Roxborough neighborhood of NW Philadelphia with my husband Martin. If we are available, we will happily explore the city with you or just welcome you into our cozy home. We both work from home and are training for an ultramarathon (50 miles) in June and a 3-day/90mi run across the island of Mallorca, Spain in August/Sept.
I am a very open, silly, energetic, and optimistic person. I am always looking to meet wonderful people, run, hike, cook vegan food, drink and go out to bars to dance or hear live music, visit museums, do art projects, share adventure stories, experience new things, work towards a better world, and give hugs. I am currently working from home as a consultant for worker-owned businesses and spend a lot of time with our dog, Missy Sun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I fell in love with couchsurfing in December 2014 when I tried it for the first time in Tunisia and Morocco. Throughout 2015, I have hosted numerous guests with my boyfriend Martin in my previous apartment in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and have used it to stay with people in Portugal, Germany, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Solvakia, Ireland, Czech Republic, and hopefully many more places to come.
All of my couch surfing experiences have been incredibly meaningful to me so far and I love the feeling of having new people to know and love all around the world. This community has changed my life for the better.
