ABOUT ME
Positive and easy-going, I love to explore and seldom let small things get me down while I do. Masters student in Cape Town studying Justice and Transformation.
I am interested in life and believe in experience so try to approach things contextually and always with an open mind and heart. I love interesting people and ideas, engaging discussions, good coffee, urban agriculture, cities of the world, yoga, reading, theatre and film, MUSIC (particularly if it is live), street art, dance in all its many forms, and nature.
Beginner at: skateboarding, mini-harmonica, isiXhosa and French.
I worry that I will never have enough time to read everything I hope to read. I worry that I cannot play a musical instrument or speak three languages. I recognise my idealism, but worry that I will one day become disillusioned. I value sincerity, and strongly dislike pettiness. I wonder what my generation will leave behind.
PHILOSOPHY
Critical Humanism: to recognise the open door of every consciousness (Frantz Fanon) and to believe in the highest good we can find within ourselves and within the natural world, but to always remain open to being changed by experience.
