Hi! I'm Kyla. I love to travel, learn languages, and DANCE! I'm always excited to see and try new things, I'm adventurous and playful, and I'm quick to make new friends everywhere I go.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you love, because you love it, and not for any other reason. Don't forget your future, but don't be afraid to seize an opportunity just because it might be risky. Try (almost) anything once. Discover the world, and leave it better than you found it.

Interests

I dance nonstop--salsa and other Latin dances, swing (Lindy Hop), hip hop, and anything else I get an opportunity to try. I'm also a Zumba instructor, so I get to share my passion for dance with others. I love finding anything that I can turn into an adventure. For the past few years I've been working at a language immersion camp, teaching Spanish and Portuguese to kids out in the wilderness. When I'm not out seeking adventure, I'm a full-time student at St. Olaf College.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Foz Iguaçu/Iguazu Falls. So spectacular.
-South America's biggest waterslide, the INSANO, at Beach Park in Fortaleza, Brazil. I thought I was going to die.
-Parque das Cachoeiras in Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Paradise.
