ABOUT ME

Trying to figure out the next step and answer the "What am I going to do with my life?!" question. :) I'm having fun along the way. Swing dancing Biologist who wants to take photos, write poetry, sing songs, and dig up Dinosaurs. I have more ambition than energy.. but it doesn't stop me from trying! I am an ambitious dreamer :) I live by my curiosity and my drive to learn new things. I love being able to share my southern hospitality at home or on adventure. I am also proud to embrace my nerdy side any day of the week :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not many people pass through these parts, but I try to host when I can :) and I talk about CS a lot... lol spreading the love!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly used CS for community and activities. All of my world travels have been greatly enhanced simply by finding weekly CS meetings while I'm on adventure. I've met and made amazing friends thanks to this project. :)

I can't possibly make a list... My interests are far to vast and varied in these areas. I have always dreamed of being a movie critic LOL and I won't complain about a movie unless I have actually SEEN it... so yes... I've seen A LOT of terrible movies, the good kind of terrible and the terrrrrrible kind as well :) I love music that stirs something inside me, I want to FEEL something - to dance, to laugh, to cry, to shake my fist in anger, to be moved by the sheer genius of composition or lyrics... I love hearing new tunes

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Teaching my 8 year old niece how to use a microscope and collect data - She's on a roll now! I love it! I am truly amazed by children's curiosity and ability to learn without hesitation. I wish we could do so as easily as adults. I have developed a strong passion for science education for kids.

I LOVE learning new things. I am very excited about new languages and cultural experiences. I can show you some dance moves, take you on an outdoor science adventure, and we can wax philosophically about zombies (or just zombie movies) :) I also love to sing and "try" to play guitar... anyone want to jam!?
