About Me
I'm a student and single mother at Dixie State U. I don't have much time to hang out as I work and go to school both full time, but I've stayed at others' places before and want to return the kindness.
Since I joined couchsurfers I have changed from living alone to living with my child's co-parent (26 yr old male) and my best friend from highschool (23 year old female). Also the photos on the site that I took are from my old house and will be updated shortly. There is a bathroom downstairs in the hallway, a main bathroom with shower upstairs, and a bathroom with shower in my bedroom (as long as my daughter is not still sleeping, you will use this one, otherwise, my roommate's shower is fine.
I have a futon and a couch, POSSIBLY a full size.
Please agree up front how long you will be staying (arrival time/time you must leave by is as flexible as much as my work schedule is, usually you can just confirm your stay a week or two in advance and then text me when you are about an hour away, but I need you to leave by when I have to go to work.)
1. Based on experience, as a household we do prefer to host FEMALES. There may be **some** occasions where I am available to host couples or males but this is the EXCEPTION to the norm. Females, please be aware that my roommate is male and there may be times he is home and I am not. Please DON'T rely on me as your only option and please make plan B arrangements if you are a couple or male. Otherwise, things such as religion, sexual orientation, philosophical or political views do not affect my willingness to host.
2. Please *try* to give me a week in advance notice so I can be home. It never hurts to ask anyway though. I typically get 3+ requests a day so obviously I can't host everyone but you never know :)
3. Please be able to call or text the day before you will arrive. This is both to ensure we do not have the flu or some kind of sickness or some situation has arisen where I can no longer host, and also to confirm your arrival time so that I can be home to greet you.
4. *Please* if you are able put your sheets/towel in the washer with one of the soap packets on top of it before you leave and press "casual", then "start" :)
4. I typically cant feed you, unfortunately :(
5. Wifi password is currently not working on apple devices, but otherwise we have wifi.
6. Remind me to show you around and feel free to ask questions.
7. You are welcome to use my fridge/freezer to store your perishables if you need.
Thank you!
