Born & raised in San Diego county, and lived there for 26 years before moving to Boston. I love hockey and craft beer, I'm studying ASL & Deaf culture, I love camping and going to shows and I try to spend some of my free time doing some volunteer work.

I met 2 travelers while out one night in San Diego. They told me they were roaming around from country to country surfing couches. I invited them back to our hotel for the night, and then to my home for the next couple nights. It was a really wonderful experience and they encouraged me to try out couch surfing for myself.
