Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Kyle. I'm an artist from the bay area, California. Very happy to be participating in the couchsurfing community. It's been an honor to meet all the good people I've crossed paths with.
Earlier this year I left home to travel the world, and build my career as a traveling cartoonist, caricaturist, and blogger. I do my work from a tablet. I currently run an online store where I sell caricatures to people all over the world.
I've spent the summer couchsurfing down the coast of California, creating an assortment of wonderful friendships. I've spent this fall exploring Nevada, Colorado, new Mexico, and Arizona. At the moment, I'm traveling back over to California to get home in time for the holidays.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the fun that comes with making connections with people I wouldn't have met otherwise. I don't have a place of my own to share just yet, but I am devoted to being as graceful and friendly of a guest as possible.
Interests
Writing, drawing, (digital) painting, mindfulness, amateur photography, performing arts, improv, cafés, ukulele.
Storytelling in general.
Comedy in its various forms. I do improv with a theatre in San Jose when I get the chance, and I love participating in the moments that make everyone laugh.
The art of caricature and how insane it is that a few lines on paper can evoke the identity of a person. I think cartoons are a fascinating, hilarious, and valuable medium for conveying important messages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Taken the plunge and kicked myself out of the house, with just a backpack, and tablet to draw on, and no savings, all in search of a higher purpose.
I'm learning more about myself than ever, and I'm not dead yet.
