About Me
It is important to me that I help people when I can, which is why I am lucky to have my current jobs. One provides low-income families with financial advice, the other helps with household energy management. In my free time I like to travel and visit friends. Slowly working my way through the U.S. 50 before expanding abroad(though I've spent a month in Italy and a year in Japan).
Lots of beauty and complexity in the world and I want to see it! Also want to expand my understanding of different spaces so that I can help shape my own in a positive way!
To end, a positive and negative quote that I like
“When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or partial system; he is concerned with the total understanding of mankind.”
