ABOUT ME

I love new experiences and adventures. My personal goal in life is to travel to all seven continents before I die. I like to cook (especially for other people), sail, surf, hike and anything else outdoors. I really enjoy hearing the perspective of others and I am always looking to learn new things. I am pretty laid back and love to learn all about you, where you've been and what you think about anything and everything. I have lived in Austin for 7 years. During that time, I have tried to explore as much of the city and its food scene as possible. If you are looking for a host or just want someone to show you around Austin send me a request!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done a good amount of traveling over the years and some of my favorite memories came from staying with locals. I love learning about the culture in the places I go, and I believe the best way to do that is by interacting with the locals!

Interests

I love traveling and being outdoors. I am a very active person and love all sports. Some of my favorites are basketball, football, soccer and golf. I also love skiing, surfing, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and rock climbing. I really like to cook and eat. I love exploring places and trying local foods. I also like going to see movies and concerts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - There are very few genres of music that I do not listen to. I love alternative rock, hip-hop, country, electronic/dance, and acoustic. No matter what I am doing, I am pretty much always listening to music. I love discovering new music, so if you send me a couch request please include your favorite song/artist at the moment!

Movies - This is always one of the hardest questions for me to answer. I am a huge movie person, in fact I usually go see a movie a week in theaters, so it is really hard for me to choose a favorite. I would have to say my favorite recent movie is definitely Sicario, but my all-time favorite is the Dark Knight trilogy.

Favorite Books - I love the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn (currently reading the last book). Some of my other favorites are: The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls.
