Young professional just getting into travelling. I work currently work for the CDC as a research assistant but it doesn't tie up all my time. I like to have drinks with people and make new friends. I'm very easy to talk to and very accommodating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Really enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories. Everyone has such an interesting life and perspective and the best part of life is getting to share those with someone. I want to be able to spend time with locals who like the area and want to tell me things about it. I want to be able to cook a stranger dinner and see their faces light up. Life is an adventure, I'm just trying to fill it up with interesting people in interesting places.

Interests

Films are my favorite thing to talk about, pretty much anything about movies or going to see them will be a source of non-stop fascination for me. But I'm also into music, writing, politics, and most of all learning new things. I like to have long conversations with people getting to know them and what makes them tick. I like connecting with them and making memories I can look back on later.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are all over the place as far as my interests are concerned but I just cant seem to get myself to finish the Hobbit, I dont know why. I will watch literally any type of movie and probably love it even if it is terrible because I love movies so much. Anything Scorsese or Wes Anderson is a go to for me. I love music and I'm just starting to learn piano so I have a wide range of tastes.....except most country music, it's just dreadful I apologize in advance for my distaste of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Panama with a group of fellow students for a week on a Medical Missions trip. It was the most life changing event of my life and it has pushed me to be active in healthcare and humanitarian efforts ever since.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm just a ball of energy and random facts. You like pop-culture references? I got em. You like an off the cuff joke? Got those too? You want to dine out but don't want to pay? Don't worry I've worked in kitchens since I was 18 and I can put together a meal so good you will want to hire me as your personal chef. But if you just want to chill and talk about your day I can do that too. I like to listen to people and hear them out.
