Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just finished road trip around the south of Europe.
Got enough work during Paris Fashion week to fly to Vietnam.
Currently riding south to Ho Chi Minh after a couple weeks in Ha Noi.

Not so interested in staying with at backpackers hostels with other westerns just here to party.
I do enjoy a beer or two but would rather drink with the old men on the street than party boys from the US.
Love to spend time in and around the kitchen. Preferably cooking the fish that we caught early that morning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What is an amazing thing, waking up in the morning is an amazing thing..
Giving birth is an amazing thing.. I've never done anything like that..

I'm riding a dirt bike through up and down mountain roads right now all off one check from Vogue.
But pointing an camera at a dancer wearing the latest "greatest" couture isn't amazing..

Road tripping in a van through south of Europe was an adventure and a pleasure but not amazing..
I don't know if I've ever done anything amazing..
I feel lucky to be where I am today but that's hard work, sweat, blood, and good friends.
Nothing amazing about it.. not compared to the love of a mother or the heroics of a fireman.
