I love to ski and have spent the last three years spending any money I've saved over ski seasons to travel. I've backpacked extensively through South America and South East Asia and am currently living and working in Niseko for the ski season. I've had my experiences backpacking in hostels but I am looking for a more relaxed and intimate experience as I travel through Japan

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Think it would be a great way to meet people local to the areas I'm travelling in and to get a better experience and perspective of the city and what it has to offer. And hopefully have the chance to return the favour when I'm not travelling!

Any activities related to the outdoors. Skiing and hockey would top the list but equally happy reading a good book and relaxing with a cold beer.

Hiked and sumitted the 2nd tallest volcano in Indonesia (3726m), Mt Rinjani.
