I teach literature and writing at Shandong University in Jinan, China. Traveling is a big part of my life, but I especially like traveling for food. (Which has made two years in China really fantastic, since there's always more to try here.) I'm very interested in every kind of art--books, movies, music--which is a big part of my personality. It's important to me to always keep seeing life in new ways, and I think meeting new people is one of the best ways to do that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's always seemed weird to me to visit a place and not make any friends who live there. Couch Surfing seems like the best way to fix that.
