Right now I'm traveling the US in my car. I'm exploring cities, hiking mountains, and meeting incredible people. Along the way I have been taking pictures where I look very unimpressed (in case you were wondering about my pictures). I'm just trying to live spherically and absorb as much as possible.

I'm fairly certain I'll be living in Colorado when this trip comes to an end. I'm new to this community, but when I get my own place I'll be glad to host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hotels are the same all over the country. I don't want the same sterile experience everywhere I go. I want to see different lifestyles and hear different ideas, also I'm sort of a minimalist.

Interests

My interests are never ending. I want to do everything right now, the hard part is narrowing my focus. Generally, personal growth, balance, and realizing my potential are my main themes.

I love psychology, philosophy, motorcycles, being in nature, dive bars, plants and animals, hearing new concepts or perspectives, music festivals, the occasional book, and again, motorcycles.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical taste is all over the place. From Tupac to Tchaikovsky, to Led Zeppelin to LCD Sound System, from Rodrigo y Gabriela to Erykah Badu, to Father John Misty to Red Fang to Outkast to Knife Party to Thievery Corporation to The Guess Who.

Movies: Most any David Fincher, Wes Anderson, PT Anderson, Cohen Bros, or Scorsese films. Also Joe Dirt, Swingers, the Jerk, Wreck-it-Ralph, Last Action Hero, Cowboy Bebop, Big Trouble Little China, Lethal Weapon1-4, Showdown in Little Tokyo, and any other terrible 80-90's action movie.

Books: Mainly non-fiction and psychology/scientific studies. Other than that, books like The Bell Jar, Walden and Civil Disobedience, and The Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard choice... I travelled for a month on my motorcycle in 2012. This included a music festival, an interstate wreck, continuing the trip to the Grand Canyon, and later riding 45 hours straight from Vegas to Indianapolis without sleeping.

But I have also eaten an entire large cheese pizza in less than 8 minutes sooo...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have some pretty wild stories. Motorcycle close calls, crazy guys with guns, being a bouncer, etc... Mechanically savvy. I'm ok at guitar and can drum a little.
