Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm 27 and I moved to Denver from Boston just over 3 years ago. I absolutely love it here! I'm currently working in a business role for a Colorado hospital corporation.
I'm outgoing and fairly well traveled so I enjoy meeting new people from regions of the U.S. & world. I'm trying to experience as much and live my life to the fullest before I am old and immobile haha.
I live with 2 other roommates in Northwest Denver (the Highlands). Both are stand up guys, one is from Madison, Wisconsin originally, & the other is from Dublin, Ireland.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel around the U.S. and am looking to take some international trips in the future, preferably to South East Asia, Australia, & Europe. I also am interested in hosting international travelers to gain a better perspective on different cultures of the world.
Interests
Music: Country, rap, R&B, rock, ect
I'm currently attempting to learn the ukulele but am definitely a beginner.
Sports: Lacrosse, Hockey, Skiing, Hiking
Played lacrosse at the Division 1 level in college and grew up skiing and playing hockey at a high level. I am trying to become more "outdoorsy" and hike a bit more. I'm up to learn any kinds of new sports or outdoor activities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a 3 week trip to South Central Africa in 2012 that was amazing.
We did a week of Safari at Hwange national park in Zimbabwe, week canoe trip beginning at Mana Pools & traveling down the Zambezi River, & then a week of service volunteering at a pediatric oncology center in Harare (capital of Zimbabwe).
Teach, Learn, Share
In our modern world, I think it's essential for people to gain perspective on themselves and others. I am not very religious but am big believer of treating others with respect no matter what their views or religion may be.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm new to Couchsurfing so I've yet to stay with a host family yet. I would be happy to help with chores around the house, babysit (if relevant), run errands, walk the dog(s) (if relevant) or other animals. Always wanted to hang out with a duck for a day!
I know downtown Denver very well and enjoy frequenting the many rooftop bars & restaurants. I think I'd be a moderately good guide to the city?
During the winter I frequently ski and know the mountains very well, A-Basin, Loveland, Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail & Beaver Creek. I prefer A-Basin & Loveland as the other mountains get a bit "touristy" and it detracts from the experience.
I will say I'm a fantastic cook (and very modest haha) and usually like to do a big dinner with someone I'm staying with or whoever stays with me. Any type of meals are appreciated.
