I come from Kansas which is statistically flatter than a pancake. I love being in nature so I left after getting an engineering degree to explore and get an education of the world. I have lived in a van for the last 3 years mostly in the west of the United States near national parks spending much of my time hiking and being outside. I love making friends and often travel in caravan groups with others doing the same thing.

After running a business in college I sold everything I had to start traveling full time and have been documenting the journey, mainly living out of a vehicle. I’ve had a goal to make a meal with someone in every state and have completed 28/50 with 48 people. Food is a great way for people to express themselves and show where they’ve come from. The best part of traveling for me is the people that I meet and getting to have a look into their lives. I think you can learn something from every person. Locals know the most about places they live and give a whole new preservative to the area. Over the last few years I’ve often gotten to stay with many people around the states and have used many hostels internationally but would love to get a deeper connection to this abroad places and the people who live there. I prefer to see where someone local goes to eat rather than visiting the most touristy attraction filled with other travelers
