I am from Oklahoma. I have been traveling around the US for the last few years working with a Conservation Corp and the US Forest service fighting fire. I enjoy exploring new places, meeting new people, and doing some meaningful work along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on the off season for fire fighting and I’m looking to purse an interest in organic farming. I have a farm that is willing to host me on the east side of the big island of Hawaii and just need a bit of help getting there.

Interests

I love the outdoors and that’s where I spend most of time. I enjoy the recreation and what it has to offer as well as just being immersed in its beauty. I am interested in organic farming, clean eating, and sustainable living which is what I’m looking to learn more about on the current adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide variety of music, but if you were to look at my playlist it’s mostly modern folk. I do love a good book. I’m a big fan of Steinbeck’s. Recently I have been reading a lot of classic and some non fiction adventure/nature books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sold pretty much everything I own about 3 years ago, loaded up my car to start working with a Conservation Corp, and I am still pursing that journey.
