I am from Vashon - a small island outside of Seattle that is only accessible by ferry boat. I currently work as a physical trainer in Seattle and spend my free time in the surrounding mountains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently had a phenomenal experience Couchsurfing with my fiancée in Japan. I would like to pay forward the opportunity for personal growth and cultural exchange. I am also motivated by the potential for mutual hosting experiences abroad.

I’m interested in cultivating and sharing knowledge relating to human movement potential, metabolism, philosophy, history, Japanese language, and science. There’s a strong chance if you’re a political ideologue we won’t get along.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I currently live in a relatively small apartment approximately 10 minutes north of Downtown Seattle. I live on a bus line that goes straight into the city. At this time I can only offer a couch that will comfortably sleep one adult. I do have a hammock and a large mat that could work in a pinch. Guests are welcome to shower and use kitchen utensils and basic staples for cooking. My room mate and I would love to make / share dinner if we are home. I am also from the area and can serve as a decent tour guide if I’m available. Guests who like to hike / climb are always welcome to join or train with me.
