ABOUT MY LIFE
Following two years of traveling throughout Asia, and stubbling through many crazy adventures, I've returned to my home in order to begin a new chapter.
In past lives I was an Engineer, Musician and a Rock Climber.

MY TRAVEL GOALS
To hop aboard my outfitted Honda CBR 600rr and depart sunny Florida for an incomprehensibly EPIC journey across the USA (and beyond)! I plan to settle in the Great American West eventually, but until I run out of money I'll be visiting National Parks, rock climbing, riding my sportbike adventure-style in the dirt and boondocking in the forest. It's going to be a WILD and unforgettable time!

WHO I AM
A weird creature.

In my life I was unhappy and disillusioned. The person I'd become was nothing like the heroes of my imagination. At some point something clicked inside and I discovered what was truly important to me; the very experience of LIVING! NOT toiling for societies sake, NOT gratifying some well-walked path of security, spinning some wheel to death or stacking a certain height of pennies but to fill my life to the brim with experience. I only wish I had summoned the courage to throw it all off earlier...

I quit my job, sold all my things (except my motorcycle) and booked a one-way plane ticket to the other side of the world. With only a sliver of a plan, NO IDEA what I was doing and no definite certainty I would ever returning to the USA, I endevoured to make the most of the opportunity by filling my life with adventure, challenge, exploration and fun.
Two years later I have returned home, but I've returned a very different person. I live to challenge myself, to explore the world and life, to accomplish dreams and personal goals, and for the great unforgettable memory of it all!!!

MY PERSONALITY
Sometimes awkward, sometimes quite. I try to be polite but I've forgotten how to gentrify. Infinite patience and understanding; but I wont put up with your crap. I'm not great with words but I like to talk deep subjects. I'm a bit lost in the civilized world.

AS A GUEST
Expect an orderly, polite, abet tired, traveler. My obligation as a guest is to be as low-impact and awesome as possible. I have an insatiable urge to help you with you chores. I am interested is sharing Adventures and learning during my stay. I am not picky in any respect.

I like all manners of cinema from dry, drawn-out epics to slapstick comedy. Bollywood. Can't stand cliche folly work or shacky-camera cinematography, though.

All music that is good music. Jazz, rock and roll and world music are among my favorite. Sri Lankan and Burmese music is about the worst I've ever heard.

I've been reading Science Fiction recently. "The Dark Forest" by Cixin Liu

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I rode my bicycle 4,000 miles across Asia, from Bangkok through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Yunnan, Sichuan, and Gansu to Dunhuang, China. Crossed a 15,000 foot mountain pass on the Tibetan Step and 25 days of the sub-freezing Silk Road Gobi Desert.

Rode a motorbike through Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam before it literally explodes

Cloistered at a Vietnamese Zen temple where I taught English to Buddhist youth, washed dishes, gardened Banzai trees and meditated 3 hours a day.

Ship-hand for smugglers off the east-coast of Malaysia

Summited 5 active volcanoes in Indonesia and Borneo

Lived in New Delhi. Just generally SURVIVING India is incredible.

Surfed with beach bums in Sri Lanka for a month.

Escaped Burmese law while hitchhiking and camping in military-controlled Myanmar.

Hiked the Himalayas

Sought-out illegal pork in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei (for the hell of it)

A short Deep Water Soloing adventure in southern Thailand from a kayak

Kayaked through Ha long Bay

Pulled an all-nighter in Macau and came out ahead!

Slept in a hammock while hiking unguided through the open jungle, alone, to summit West Malaysia's highest peak. It became "Naked and Afraid"- style because it was too hot and I was sweating too much. It was pretty stupid of me, if I'm being honest with myself...

40 days in a tent while I hikes New Zealand

Climbed Rocks.

Got a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering with zero enthusiasm
