Overview
About Me
I’m Kyle. I'm a pretty chill guy and I'm into a lot of different things. I like the outdoors, and I like reading and learning; I like reading and learning outdoors, but I think my favorite place to read and learn is indoors on a comfortable recliner with a gigantic mug of coffee. As far as what I like to do outside, I honestly just want to get more in touch with nature in general, and to just learn more about it in a hands-on manner. But yea, I don't spend too much time doing nothing. When I have time on my hands and don't know what to do with it, I just think, well the worst thing you can do is nothing at all. And if there isn't a project at hand I can work on, I read and review.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to build a network and collaborate with like-minded people to bring real change to the world from the ground up. Whether it’s a semi-long-term arrangement or crashing on someone’s couch for a night, people that are willing to facilitate are much appreciated.
Interests
As I stated before, I’m pretty engaged in general, but right now I’m looking to build my DIY/Green living skill-set.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I’m listening to Bryson Tiller (R&B/Hip-Hop). I’m reading a few books (for reference and for pleasure) that are for learning Arabic, and then I’m reading the autobiography of a Bosnian woman currently based in the U.S. that survived the Bosnian-Serb genocide of the 1990’s. She was 16 years old when the war began. The last movie I watched that I’d strongly recommend was The Big Short.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done a few. But working inside of Jimi Hendrix's old house on Haight and Ashbury was one.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m really looking to expand my DIY skill-set, really in any way that’s presented to me; as well as organic, and permaculture-based farming techniques, and then carpentry. I’d love to be able to build a variety of homestead structures and furniture. I've been studying Arabic (MSA) for about a year and a half now, so if anyone is interested in a language exchange that'd be awesome. I'm pretty decent with Spanish as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m a pretty good editor. I’m also pretty savvy with landscaping. In general I’m a quick learner so I’m open for ideas. If you wouldn’t mind providing a clear idea of what you’re looking for, or as clear as you can, prior to making an invitation, that’d be much appreciated.
