About Me
Hey Couchsurfing community!
I am a laid back, Californian born and raised adventurer. I am lucky enough to make a living through photography which drives my passion to explore and connect with nature. When I am not stuck in the studio editing, I love spending time outside with my dog and girlfriend (usually at the beach). Living in Santa Barbara affords us a truly rewarding environment to explore both on the coast and in the mountains. I spend most nights dreaming of Surfing and Snowboarding and would love to connect and host with traveling sports enthusiasts!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would rather stay with locals and experience their lifestyle than throw money into a luxurious hotel room. I am always looking for great hikes and secret spots for great photos in new places as well as sharing those of my own town. So to me it's less about saving money on a hotel room (although thats nice) and more about hosting and hopefully connecting with locals in different areas willing to share all they know and love of their home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bounced back from a crazy spinal injury including surgery and 18 months of physical rehabilitation. Went from being unable to put on my own socks to riding mountains and surfing waves again!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always looking to learn local cuisines, so if time in the kitchen is possible I am all about it!
Myself, I love nothing more than sharing my passions. If you want to learn to surf, well Ive worked as a surf instructor before so I can happily teach you and have the extra equipment!
As for photography, it is an absolute joy to share and teach people about their cameras and am completely comfortable teaching beginners all the way through sharing knowledge and equipment with other professionals!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share my experience in the kitchen and happily cook and clean, or if you would prefer I can pick up the dinner bill (and bar tab). Hosting and being an appreciative guest are part of the culture instilled in me by my awesome mom, and you can expect me to go out of my way to show appreciation for your kindness. I am hoping to share a friendship above all else and hope to add a little joy to this world.
