Kyle is a physicist-turned-scribbler who's lived in Albuquerque, Tulsa, Vienna and New York. He has a sneaking suspicion that he was born in the wrong century, but is pleased to find this one well-equipped with running water and antibiotics. Raised in the desert wilds of New Mexico, Kyle is not a cowboy—though he has been on a horse two or three times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an independent journalist, so I sometimes need accommodations + local knowledge when I'm working on a story in another city. And I think that combination comes best from those who volunteer their time and their place to travelers.
