Music, Movies, and Books
There are very few genres I dislike. I read a great deal of T.S. Eliot, and I quite like 19th century English poetry. I quite like theatre as well. Please feel free to share recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been proud to work as a teacher on-and-off throughout my undergraduate education. Teaching has allowed me to “broaden my horizons,” and engage with individuals from many different backgrounds.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am highly proficient in English language instruction, and have served as an educator across nearly all grade levels (particularly elementary education). I am well-versed in a number of academic topics, particularly those associated with the “humanities.” I also know a plethora of random facts which I would be happy to share. I am a bit slow with learning languages, and would be thrilled to learn whatever I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can be a quiet houseguest, a traveling companion, a listening ear, etc. I am more than happy to engage in conversation, or quietly mind my own business. I can also proofread/edit your travel blogs, websites, or other writings.
