About Me
Be who you are and say how you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted several people at my current and former houses, but only one person used Couchsuring to find us. I use this as a network to connect myself with people in other places who may have an insight which I do not possess. I also think it fosters community in a way that enriches the world, and even just having a profile here makes me feel a part of something special.
As I travel, I will love to use CS as a way to connect with people in new areas. As I am home, I would also love to host people (if possible).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I made a profile in 2012 when I spent 6 months traveling, but met friends along the way that hosted me outside of this website. Similarly, while living in the mid-west of the United States, I hosted many people, but only one person was on CS, and he coordinated through a friend. Even now, our home in Vientiane (Laos) has become a revolving door of guests connected with our fellowship program (and just people we have met). However, I value this site as a resource, and have heard nothing but wonderful reviews from the people I know who have utilized it to meet new friends and explore new places. The sharing economy is growing!!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being born.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can grow food, and cook some, but I am always looking for new things to grow and cook. I can teach English, but am always searching for new words (currently in Nepali) to learn. I've got a lot to share, but even more to learn.
