About Me

Laugh and find myself in the absolute most random of situations - making the most of every adventure I find myself in

Looking for the next adventure, for the next funny story, the next "no way did that actually just happen" moment

ABOUT ME

I love to talk with absolutely anyone. I'm smiling or laughing at almost any given time and I'm always up for any new adventure - the journey / the stories that come from it are just as much a part of the experience itself.

PHILOSOPHY

"Porque no?" - "Why not?"

I ask myself this question and it always leads me to a great experience or a lesson learned. Regardless, it always leads to fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sharing several laughs, many smiles, and listening to / providing stories for all.

Interests

Being outdoors first and foremost. Traveling, exploring, watching or playing sports, grabbing a drink with friends, most of all though - making memories and living every day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I like quite the variety. Camp fire music

Movies - I'd rather be adventuring

Books - See movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bicycled across half of Central America
Climbed the highest peak in Central America - Volcan Tajumulco, Guatemala
Have lived in a van in New Zealand
Swam with pink river dolphins and piranas in the Amazon River
Slept under the stars on top of a sand dune in the Sahara Desert

Teach, Learn, Share

Never ask a 'yes or no' question if the language is not your first. People in general want to help you and never want you to feel alienated, so if they do not understand, very often they will respond 'yes, yes, yes.' This is where asking an awkward question that you would never ask in your first language comes into play - such as - "Where are we right now? or What city is this?" As opposed to stating, "This is ____, right?"
