ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! I currently live and work in the quirky city of Ithaca, NY. I love to travel, but prefer driving to flying and enjoy slowing down and taking random road trips on a whim, and my camera is typically along for the ride.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that life is best enjoyed in the great outdoors and by taking in all of the natural beauty this world has to offer. I enjoy being out in the "country" away from it all even though I grew up in the big city.

As far as music, depending on my mood I will listen to most anything, but I have a particular soft spot for hardcore rock, late 60's/early 70's psych, and Delta blues. I am always open to new suggestions.

I don't watch many movies, but I have my favorites including Tommy Boy, Days of Thunder, and Full Metal Jacket.

My reading typically consists of engineering related books and how-to's, but I have read and appreciate the popular fiction works over the years: To Kill a Mockingbird, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, etc.

This past year I went to Niagara Falls and rode the boat out into the pool at the base of the falls. Not exactly unique, and quite touristy, but it is still the most amazing thing I've have seen and done thus far in life.

I have a vast knowledge of most anything under the sun, and enjoy well-educated discussions of many topics. I am creative and innovative and tend to think outside the box. I love cars and motorcycles and anything with an engine, so I'm more than willing to talk "shop" with anyone.
