About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My wife and I moved to rural Alaska in July 2014. We love what our new state has to offer and can't wait to continue our travels around the state.
ABOUT US
We are both in our early 30’s and love to travel, listen to vinyl, drink good beer, and be outside.
We're all about living simply and meeting interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson, Snatch, Gladiator, Magnolia, Jurassic Park, What About Bob.
Books: most things Stephen King/ Chuck Klosterman, Historical Non-fiction
Music: We can pretty much tolerate anything other than country or awful R&B. Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Umphreys McGee, Glass Animals, Portugal the Man, Big Gigantic, Phantogram, Modest Mouse, Glitch Mob, Fleetwood Mac, and Allman Brothers are just a few of the bands we love.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Proposed to my wife at a Fleetwood Mac show in Detroit.
Caught Win Butler's (lead singer of Arcade Fire) tambourine at a show in Detroit.
Been stung by a jellyfish in Hawaii.
Ate raw jellyfish in Alaska.
Moved 4,000 miles away to rural Alaska.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a 4th grade teacher because working with kids is much better than working with adults. My wife is currently working at Prospectors Pizza while taking classes through University of Alaska.
