I'm currently studying sustainability abroad in Copenhagen, though I usually study Computer Science at Olin College of Engineering near Boston. Growing up, I spent my life split between Northern California and the Big Island of Hawaii. I enjoy cycling, the outdoors, and brainstorming ways to tackle pressing issues.

My goal in life is to affect the most positive change in the world as possible. My primary focus is environmental sustainability, but I am also interested in social issues and combating inequality in the world.

I'm generally on the quiet side (but if you want to talk, just ask me something), and I won't make much noise wherever I stay. I tend to rise on the earlier side and go to bed by 23:00.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have yet to engineer a money-producing tree, and being a student hasn't helped my situation. ;( Despite that, I still want to explore Europe as much as I can while I'm here, and meet some locals during my travels!

I've sailed from Key West, Florida, to and along the coast of Cuba, and across to Isla Mujeres, Mexico, on a 37' catamaran with my father and younger brother.
